A Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is an advanced practice registered nurse equipped to provide a wide range of mental health services. These nurse practitioners are trained in assessment, diagnosis, planning and evaluation of mental illnesses and disorders.

What is a Counselor?

A counselor is able to provide social work services without supervision. Professional counselors help clients identify goals and solutions to their problems. Counselors seek to improve a patient's communication, coping skills, self-esteem, and overall behavior. Compass Community Health has many licensed counselors, including LISWs, LPCCs, LPCs, and LSWs.
